This place was awesome! We were just passing through on a road trip and we found it by chance. Though it was diner food, (which I typically don't tend to like) it was definitely some of the best diner food I have eaten. And at a pretty good price. Definitely stop by if you have the chance.

Had Sunday dinner today as part of a family member's birthday. The meals are hearty portions with several sides and the dessert is included. It's a great value for what you are served. I had the turkey dinner and the turkey was excellent as were the mashed potatoes and the sides, but I did not like the stuffing because of the craisins that are in it. Please consider returning to a more traditional stuffing recipe.

Lunchtime. Ordered a wrap and a burger. Waitstaff was friendly, food was fresh and price was reasonable. What few times I've been there, it has been satisfying. I like the prices and they also do breakfast all day.

Fried chicken was crunchy without being overcooked and it was awesome. The fried shrimp was good and already had the tails removed. Yummy.

not what the reviews have been posted the place was like it was back 7 years ago. We first came here on your honeymoon and the food was amazing along with the people. This time around the roast beef was a little salty. The cheese burger and fries where out of the world. Will be back again.

Service was good but the food was not worth the price. I and my Dad had the seafood platter. Portions were small and the fish and seafood was not fresh but we're frozen. For $14.99. Mom got the tuna salad sandwich and again the portions were small. The only thing I would recommend is the cinnamon rolls.

Went around 1015 in the morning only three other tables in there one of which was already in process of getting food they ordered. I ordered an omelet took over 20 mins to get. I asked for hasbrowns got homefries. Hash browns weren't done all the way when I got them and the egg for the omelet was still runny. Toast was burnt on one side. Server was friendly and nice but never once asked how the food was.

Service was slow. We hadn't been there since the new owners took over and service was much slower. Got the breakfast special and omelet seemed small. Asked for onions in potatoes didn't get that. Very different from previous. Will surely go to stephanie's next time much better food and service.

Stopped here on oir way to Niagara Falls for brekfast. Very good and reasonable prices. Pumkin pancakes and pancakes where very good.

Mayberry at its finest! This was like stepping back in time.The restaurant was clean, the coffee was great. The staff was very polite. The food was great. And grab a few sticky buns for the road, you will not be disappointed! Small town American pride still exists! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Good family style restaurant, clean modern. Large selection of daily specials, sticky buns are delicious. Generous portions, sweet potatoes are almost a dessert. I had the pot roast and my girlfriend a steak. There is also large selection of homemade pies, which are included with the Sunday dinner. I had the raspberry and my girlfriend had cherry. Plenty of convenient parking in the front and rear. Great service.

The new ownership is outstanding , the food tasted spectacular and the staff were more than accommodating for all of our needs, the owner has provided new and tasty dishes which really compliment the atmosphere that they have created. Not only was the food delicious it was extremely affordable. Simply put if you are in the area this is a must stop

Quaint place with good food. Service was very friendly. And it was the only place open in the Thanksgiving Afternoon. The Trivia on the tables was cute, too.

First time in, went for Christmas Eve lunch. Clean, homey restaurant with a fairly extensive menu. Have a sticky bun, they're delicious! Two of us had full Sunday dinners complete with starters and dessert for about $40. And one was prime rib, which was done perfectly. My liver and onions was tender and flavorful.And the pies (pumpkin and pecan) were a comforting finish to a great meal. The owner went each table, asking how everything was, along with seasonal greetings. We will be back.

Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Restaurant was very clean. The Colorado meat lovers omelet was phenomenal.

Service is great but food is hit and miss. Hot/cold bar looked great but we were in the mood for breakfast at lunch. It was just okay but we will be back.

First time I went to Bath, NY and stopped by Chit-A-Whyle Restaurant. All I have to say is that I will definitely come back. Quick and friendly service. Oh more importantly, really good food! I will definitely be coming back.

I was visiting a friend in the area. We stopped here to eat breakfast. The service was great and the food even better. Loved the pumpkin spice pancakes. Even brought home a famous cinnamon bun for my husband.

Good food. Waitress was not very helpful was not aware of menu questions and did not try to get answers. Was super friendly to the locals that were sitting behind us. Not as friendly to casual diners. Not sure I will stop again. Did not have this problem upon a previous visit. :(

Our group of 20+ from Suffolk County, Long Island were nicely accommodated for lunch at a long table on Saturday, 09-14-19. Our waitress, whose name I can't recall, provided us with friendly, courteous, professional and timely service. Our group (aviation buffs from the Bayport Aerodrome) was satisfied with our dining experience at 'Chat-A-Whyle Restaurant'.

Was a Great place to grab food whenever i was in bath. Sadly, this place has since closed their doors.

This is a wonderful restaurant, staff was excellent, proprietor was a person who truly cares about his business. Clean, pleasant and warm atmosphere, food was superb. Hot cinnamon rolls, I took two home to my husband, now he wants to go back to this restaurant just for more cinnamon rolls. Everyone should visit chat-a-whyle, awesome, kudos to everyone that works there and there owner.

The food was good tadting but smaller quantities then ever before. We ordered a chicken tender dinner w fries and we ordered a kids hot dog w fries. Well needless to say the kids meal had more fries then the adults dinner no joke the adult dinner had maybe 20 fries where the kids had about double that. The waitress was amazing though as was everything else.

The staff was frindely. I got my meal out quickly even those they were busy. The eniroment was great.

Evercinse the new owners bought it it had been going down hill they couldnt get my order right the service too slow and now they are out of business

Horrible experience. Couldnt get a server and then we asked what specials were and were told they were on white board in the other room. Then the owner was rude to us when we let them know our food was cold. Then he sat at our table just watching us eat. Would NOT recommend

My husband and I were visiting wineries all day and this restaurant was perfect for dinner. I actually ordered all of our food to go and I was on my way in about 15 minutes. The staff was very nice and even the regulars welcomed me to chat with them. When we finally got to eat the food, it was hot and delicious! If we stay around here again we will be sure to come back
